Demo Track (2024) focuses on the improvised lyrics that emerge in demo recordings before the final track is made. These words fill the melody as it takes shape. They draw from whatever surfaces in the moment and from language that has become familiar over time. They may seem random at first. Yet as they repeat and accumulate, they begin to reveal traces of personal memory, habitual speech, and unconscious thought. Through sound, the underlying algorithm gradually becomes audible.
